This is a live recording of Return to Forever, featuring Jean-Luc Ponty, who is popular in the fusion and progressive rock world, on violin. It includes two jazz festivals from 2011, North Sea as a soundboard recording and Landes Jazz Festival as an audience recording. Both are of super high quality, and the audience recording is no less impressive. In addition, in the original “Headless Hawk” version of this item, Disc 1, which was recorded on the soundboard, was the main focus, and Disc 2 was used to supplement the missing tracks (the second half of the live performance) on the soundboard recording. For this reissue, the first half of the Landes Jazz Festival, which was cut from the original version, has been added and revised to a three-disc set.
