Description
“MAGIC TOUR 1986” was the last world tour of “those four.” The 2CD “STOCKHOLM 1986”, where you can meet the incomparable high-tension Freddie at the kick-off performance, is a live album filled with the final shine. That famous recording was once released for the first time as a four-disc set of “SWEDISH MAGIC NIGHT,” but at that time, another same-day recording was also included. This work is “another one” of that. It is an audience album recorded by a different recorder of the same concert. It is a wonderful recording that is close to the 2CD “STOCKHOLM 1986”. Although it is certainly not as good as the quality of the 2CD “STOCKHOLM 1986″ in terms of pure audio, the sound with a solid core cuts through the space, and the musical sounds played by the four people are also clear. Freddy’s high-tempered voice also comes straight to you. On top of that, what makes this work unique is its outstanding on-site feel. Unlike the 2CD “STOCKHOLM 1986” which can be said to be “just like a sound board”, the sense of realism that allows you to be surrounded by the audience’s applause and cheers and place yourself in the venue is wonderful. The clapping of hands becomes part of the rhythm, the voices of the choir sing along, and the cheering adds color to the song as if it were an SE. In this case, Freddie’s high-tension performance becomes even more convincing. I thought the 2nd CD “STOCKHOLM 1986” was also great, but the MC’s energetic, booming voice and rambunctious MC were by no means a solo show. There was an audience here who responded with loud applause and laughter, and it was clearly conveyed that Freddie was able to pull out a singing voice that hit the heavens because he was in front of them. The great performance with intense tension was not the result of Freddie’s mood or physical condition on the first day of the tour. This was possible because there were people in Stockholm who thought of Queen at the time, when there were rumors of their disbandment, and were overflowing with joy at seeing Freddie in good health. This work is a real recording of the hot atmosphere of the scene, the atmosphere of bright Stockholm where the midnight sun has begun flowing out of the speakers. Again, although there is a passionate audience here, it is only the people centered around QUEEN. It’s not the yelling that interrupts Freddie’s singing voice, but the voices of the people who follow him and whose hearts tremble at their voices. It is precisely because of the interaction with the audience that expands the charm of the wonderful musical sounds that it moves our hearts beyond time and space. Why have we come to love the unique culture of “audience recording”? That’s because the scene of the scene flows out from the speakers. This is because the feeling of communicating with an audience member from a foreign country that you have never seen or met will be engraved in your mind unconsciously. This is one that even makes you realize the charm of such audience recording. If the 2CD “STOCKHOLM 1986” is an “album that brings you up close to Freddy, who can play the best,” this work is an “album that allows you to watch Freddy with the audience at the scene.” Please give them both lots of love.
