Description
The unknown treasure of “SHEER HEART ATTACK TOUR” has been newly discovered after 45 years! This work is the first appearance of a master who is currently shocking the world. It is neither an upgrade nor a separate recording. It is an audience recording of “February 16, 1975 New York Performance (Night Part)” of which no record has been known until now. Speaking of “SHEER HEART ATTACK TOUR”, it is also included in the official live album “LIVE AT THE RAINBOW ’74”, and the legendary first visit to Japan has also been realized. What position does this work occupy in such a situation? First, let’s take a look back at the schedule at that time. 1974 / October 30th – November 20th: UK (19 performances) ← *Official [“SHEER HEART ATTACK” released on November 8th] / November 23rd – December 13th: Europe (11 performances) 1975 February 5th-24th: North America #1 (19 performances) ←★Coco★ March 5th-April 6th: North America #2 (21 performances) April 19th-May 1st: First visit to Japan (8 performances) This is a panoramic view of “SHEER HEART ATTACK TOUR”. The tour started in Europe in Ochoda, and in 1975 it was a circuit in North America and Japan. Speaking of the 1975 North American tour, our store is familiar with the two great albums “THE ROYAL AMERICAN TOUR 1975” and “MILWAUKEE 1975”, both of which are “North America #2”. On the other hand, the New York performance of this work was the 12th concert of “North America #1”. This work that conveys such an early show is a vintage audience with a deep taste. The best thing about it is its freshness. After all, this new excavation is the 1st Gene Cassette that suddenly appeared for the first time. I’m not the type to mistake it for a sound board, but it has a wonderful clear air that I can’t believe was 45 years ago, and a powerful core jumps into the middle of it. Its clarity is such that you can clearly understand every single word of the lyrics, and you can clearly hear the bass attack sound that tends to be spoiled in audience recordings. Of course, that being said, it is a vintage master. In fact, the original sound that appeared on the internet sounded distorted (especially in the second half), but this work has been further refined through careful mastering. While preserving the realism of the master’s own sound and original sound to the maximum extent possible, we sought to create a smoothness that can be enjoyed as a musical work as much as possible. The show drawn with such a sound is a show that emits youthful energy while condensing and reducing the initial three albums. The set is very similar to the November performance of “LIVE AT THE RAINBOW ’74”, but it is not exactly the same. This is also a good opportunity, so let’s sort it out here. QUEEN (3 songs), Son And Daughter/Keep Yourself Alive/Liar QUEEN II (5 songs), Procession/Ogre Battle/Father To Son/White Queen (As It Began)/The March Of The Black Queen SHEER HEART ATTACK (7) Song)・Now I’m Here/Flick Of The Wrist/In The Lap Of The Gods/Killer Queen/Bring Back That Leroy Brown/Stone Cold Crazy/In The Lap Of The Gods…Revisited Others (3 songs)・Big Spender/Modern Times Rock ‘n’ Roll/Jailhouse Rock…and so on. To put it bluntly, it is a set that removes “Seven Seas of Rhye” from “LIVE AT THE RAINBOW ’74”, but the performance that spells it out is extremely hot. According to historical facts, six lectures were scheduled between “North America #1” and “North America #2,” but they were canceled due to Freddie’s illness. Since it was “North America #1” just before that, I thought there wouldn’t be any voices… but it was going really well! The beat is intense and the guitar is intense as they are excited about the full-scale invasion of the United States following last year. Freddy’s shout that follows him is also more aggressive than usual, and the mood is incredibly scorching. Perhaps Freddie’s slump was only in the last few performances of “North America #1”. In this work, he gives a wonderful performance that is equivalent to the returned “North America #2″… no, it seems even better than it. Even so, I can’t believe that so many recordings are still dormant. It is rare to find a band that has been repeatedly re-evaluated as much as QUEEN, and their sound source discovery has progressed each time. For that reason, it is shocking that such a treasure recording has come out since 1975, when it was thought that it had run out. The highest peak edition that has refined the new excavation master as much as possible.
