Prince/Tour Rehearsals 1987 New Remasters Collector’s Edition

The precious rehearsal soundboard sound source from 2 performances held just before Prince’s 1987 “Sign of the Times” European tour is now available as a 3-disc collector’s edition with the latest remaster! The first half was held at Paisley Park on April 2, 1987, and is a complete recording of the elaborate rehearsal, including shouting “London” in the middle as a dress rehearsal just like the actual performance. In the second half, the band traveled to the UK and recorded the rehearsal held in April at the Birmingham NEC Arena. The set list is different from Paisley Park, with “Let’s Go Crazy,” “When Doves Cry,” and “Purple Rain” being played. In fact, the UK performances in London and Birmingham were canceled and the phantom rehearsal sound source that was not realized is the latest collector’s edition coupled with the latest remaster! !
