Description

I was shocked to see the 15-year tour appear on the soundboard. In fact, even audience recordings hadn’t appeared for a while. The sound source that Prince sends out is good, but this leaked soundboard is of such best quality that it would not be strange to release it officially as a live album! The Louisville Palace Show 1 2015.3.14. First of all, DAT Intro, at that time, it was unclear whose song the second half of this intro was and why Prince was singing a new song. However, when the new album “Hitnrun” was released, I realized for the first time that the song from there had been unveiled. It’s the Million $ Show. The lyrics of the version are different from those released. However, it is Prince and Judith Hill who are singing. It’s the usual opening with Let’s Go Crazy, but it’s a well-balanced soundboard, so it sounds fresh to the ears. In Take Me With U, of the three people, Liv Warfield, Saida Wright, and Ashley Jaye, you can see that Liv is singing with a particularly clear voice. From U Got The Look, we move into Funknroll like an avalanche, but the sound of the soundboard here, especially the crackling of Ida’s bass, is pleasant. Prince mistakenly calls John, Himmy, and Hannah. I’ve heard a lot of soundboards of Controversy, where the guitar cutting sounds vivid, and the clever flow to 1999, and Little Red Corvette, but this is a well-organized and well-received version that is comparable to the others. Continuing from there, Prince sings Nothing Compares 2 U solo from a simple keyboard tune, which is also very beautiful. Even with the drums, you can hear Prince’s calm vocals. There is almost no voice from the audience, which is refreshing on the contrary. Donna’s guitar solo is also perfect. You can be impressed that you can hear the soundboard with just this one song. Whatever the hit song, the joy of hearing the electro version of Kiss roar in your ears. This one song could be released as a single as a brand new live version. The sampler set also includes a fading rhythm in the background, which sounds very fresh. Prince is not the only one who is excited, but without the cheers, you can clearly see that Prince is playing in such an upbeat mood. In fact, they stop playing I Would Die 4 U and let the audience sing along, but you can’t hear them at all, so it seems like something unusual has happened. Hannah’s drum solo, Donna’s Fire guitar solo, and Ida also play a bass solo, making this a great recording of the band members of 3rdEyeGirl. Prince actually sings The X’s Face, and he says that the backing is funky so he needs to turn on the lights. It seems that he has changed the lyrics a little, something about turkey. Prince’s bass Forever In My Life also has a great sound, but in the second half, he lightly includes a jam with guitar. It’s also nice to be able to hear the live version of Pretzelbodylogic on the soundboard. It just didn’t have as much impact with the audience. Rough backing, Donna is also given a guitar solo, and Ida’s bass, which seems to be about to pop out, resonates very well because it is a soundboard. Ida plays the bass again and the phrase of The Sailor’s Hornpipe. Although it is not written, Stratus also plays, and the tone of each instrument resonates because it is a soundboard, making it seem like a very important recording. In particular, the drum and bass playing are points that should be enjoyed. Purple Rain is not recorded after this, but it is supplemented by the version the next day.
