Description
~ A reprint of the unreleased 4th mini album of rock and roll legends, The Pirates, which will silence even the crying child! ! ~Pirates’ fourth album, released in 10-inch size in 1981, was a reaction to their previous album, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCK’N ROLL (aka.HARD RIDE)”, which failed due to its overly pop-based tone, and featured machine gun guitars. Although it has received high praise from core fans for its explosive, crazy, and exquisite sound, it has never been reissued or made into a CD, making it an extremely rare item. , finally reprinted straight from the finest original vinyl in mint condition! ! There is a slight scratch noise, but no equalization or noise cutting has been done to take advantage of the original sound engraved on the original disc! A total of 10 songs are included, including singles from the Johnny Kidd & the Pirates era and familiar live numbers, including Johnny Burnett’s covers “Lonesome Train” and “Milk Cow Blues” from the 1st album. It was a live version, but here is a studio version, and the most noteworthy one is “Milk Cow Blues”, which, unlike the live arrangement on the first album, features Mick Green’s super-fast machine gun guitar. You can listen to the best performance rearranged in a roaring boogie style! ! Anyway, the guitars on all the songs are very pleasant, Johnny Spence’s vocals are wonderful, and the drums and bass are recorded in a wonderful mix. On “Castin’ My Spell” and “Tricky Dicky”, which were also performed by Wilko Johnson, you can hear slide guitar, which is rare, and the female chorus is also great! A total of 10 great songs, including 4 Johnny Burnett covers! ! 01.Linda Lou 02.Honey Hush 03.Put Your Cat Clothes On 04.Sweet Love On My Mind 05.Lonesome Train (On A Lonesome Track) 06.Milk Cow Blues 07.Castin’ My Spell 08.Tricky Dicky 09.Tear It Up 10.Kaw Liga Mick Green: Lead Guitar Johnny Spence: Bass & Lead Vocals Franck Farley: Drums
