Description

Earl’s Court in 1994, which produced the official work “P.U.L.S.E” and concluded PINK FLOYD’s last world tour. This is a reprint of the finest original recording that can be made at the scene. This work is a superb audience recording set of two performances. Of the 14 consecutive performances of Earl’s Court, “October 14, 1994 (second performance)” is placed on Disc 1-2, and “October 15, 1994 (third performance)” is placed on Disc 3-4. It is a set of discs. Speaking of Earl’s Court in 1994, the video version “P.U.L.S.E” and the super masterpiece sound board “EARLS COURT 1994 BBC RADIO BROADCAST: OFF-AIR MASTER CASSETTES” reign as symbols, but of course this work is a separate performance . That one is “October 20th (7th performance)”, and the two performances of this work are the concerts about a week before that. And the biggest point of this work is the superb sound. This is an original master only for this work, which first appeared 13 years ago, and is actually the work of a “British master” who is well known at our store. Even now, he reports on the British scene in real time, and this person is a veteran who has been making great recordings since the 1980s. Naturally, he continued to be active in the 90’s, and this work is no different from the latest recording…or should I say, it is outstanding even among the masters collection. Although the individuality of achieving both a realistic atmosphere and clarity is still relevant today, this work is even more powerful, perhaps because the recording position happened to be good. You can’t feel the slightest sense of distance, and even the snare, which tends to sound like a guest record, doesn’t feel sparse at all and has a great density. In fact, when this sound source first appeared, specialized magazines at the time commented, “The sound quality is quite excellent and stable,” and “It’s quite high quality, with a power and beauty that makes you cry.” ” and “You should definitely buy it.” It received overwhelming praise. There is a real enthusiasm that erupts between songs and a natural and slight hall sound, so you can’t mistake it for a sound board, but in terms of clarity and direct feeling, it is a wonderful recording that can rival any broadcast. What you can experience with such sound is two completely different performances. “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR” was a mixture of a “madness” reproduction show and a normal style show, but this work includes both. “14th (Disc 1-2)” is the “Madness” show, and “15th (Disc 3-4)” is the normal show. As mentioned earlier, Earl’s Court’s symbolic work is the ultra-excellent soundboard “EARLS COURT 1994 BBC RADIO BROADCAST”, so let’s compare and organize the sets of both days. “Madness”・14th: All songs・15th: Breathe/Time/The Great Gig In The Sky/Us And Them/Money Others・Dawn Whistle: Astronomy Domine (★15th only)・Meddling: One Of These Days・Flame: Shine On You Cray Diamond/Wish You Were Here・The Wall: Another Brick In The Wall Part 2/Comfortably Numb/Run Like Hell/Hey You (★15th only)・Depression: Learning To Fly/Sorrow/ On The Turning Away (★15th only) ・Pairings: High Hopes/Take It Back/Keep Talking/Coming Back To Life/A Great Day For Freedom (★14th only)/What Do You Want From Me? (★15 *Note: Songs marked with “★” cannot be heard on “EARLS COURT 1994 BBC RADIO BROADCAST”. …and it looks like this. The songs that changed daily over the two days were all numbers that were not recorded on the FM sound board. The “14th” of the “Madness” show is very similar to the FM soundboard, but it still plays “A Great Day For Freedom”, and the “15th”, which has a completely different composition, is “EARLS COURT 1994”. You can enjoy 4 songs that are not on “BBC RADIO BROADCAST”. A particular highlight is “On The Turning Away” from “Utsu”. This song is a repertoire that cannot be heard not only on FM soundboards, but also on the official album version “P.U.L.S.E” and its extended version 3-disc set “DEFINITIVE PULSE”. You can truly enjoy the song “P.U.L.S.E’s pitfalls” with the best sound. A quarter of a century has passed since this last world tour. Even now, Gilmore and Mason are handing down famous songs in their own ways, but PINK FLOYD no longer stands on stage. This is a superb live album that allows you to experience their final brilliance from the special seats. No matter how great “DEFINITIVE PULSE” and “EARLS COURT 1994 BBC RADIO BROADCAST” are masterpieces, it would be a waste to settle for just that. A 4-disc set that allows the audience to master the beauty and enjoy the experience. A masterpiece, ultra-high quality 4-disc title using original sound sources.
