Description

This is amazing! ! Or rather, was there something like this in your discography? A soundboard recording of 10 tracks from the San Diego performance on April 21, 1975, which suddenly appeared, with a total recording time of 66 minutes and 40 seconds. The original was a single LP analog version called “California Soundboard”, and of the 300 pressed, the first 100 came with a bonus analog disc (this is a sales method I’ve heard somewhere before. ), and its “C-side” (lol) contained 22 minutes of Echoes. It’s boring, but did something like this exist? I tried to design this title to imitate the LP jacket, but the real problem is what’s inside. Since it is recorded from analog sides A, B, and C, there are occasional needle cracks, but the quality of the disc is top-notch, and what was recorded on it was an unmistakable ultra-high-quality stereo sound board. That’s it! I wrote it because it would be easier to say that, but it feels a bit suspicious, and I thought it was actually the LA Mirror recording from April 26th, so I compared it with the audience recording of the same day, “San Diego 1975.” However, it was really a San Diego performance (lol). Of course, it is a different master from “San Diego 1975″, and the sound quality is completely incomparable (the difference in the clouds), and it is recorded with ultra-high sound quality. When you listen to the opening song, Speak to Me, thinking, “This is an audience recording,” you are suddenly blown away by the next song, Breath. Still, what about ultra-high quality microphone recording? I can’t let go of my doubts, but anyway, this ultra-clear recording, which appears for the first time as a boot CD, is an ultra-high quality AUD sound board, and is definitely a must-listen for fans. By the way, the back cover of the original LP says “for the first time available, a top quality tape recorded directly from the mixing desk” (!). There is occasional deterioration of the sound of the analog tape (noticeable in The Great Gig In The Sky), so it is not perfect, but it is definitely a “superior” product. The most ideal thing would be for a full-length version of the soundboard (?) tape before this analog tape was made to appear in a fresher form and be made into a CD, but isn’t the possibility of that happening quite low? In any case, this is just another “midsummer dream” (even though it’s already September). It’s truly mysterious and strange, but no matter what its stance, shape, or content, there is no doubt that it is a super important sound source representing this year. “New sound source” that is a hot topic all over the world. Please enjoy the 66 minutes (the originally high pitch has been accurately corrected). This is a surprising photo. Live at Sports Arena, San Diego, California, USA 21st April 1975 STEREO SBD 1.
