The second day of the two Tokyo shows from the 2024 Japan Tour, which was the first in six years, and the final live performance at EX Theater Roppongi on February 4th, was recorded in a multi-stereo IEM matrix, and the edition with a Blu-ray included also includes live footage from the day. First, the stereo IEM sources that each member used on stage, each with a different mix balance, were mixed in an exquisite balance to create a multi-IEM matrix source, and then the digital audience source was stereo-mixed with an exquisite combination, faithfully reproducing the day’s scene with quality comparable to that of the official soundboard. The video footage from the digital camera realistically reproduces the day’s scene with stable, high-quality quality, and the audio part is synchronized with the multi-IEM matrix source of the CD, and above all, taking advantage of the large capacity of the Blu-ray, the original HD quality video material is recorded without compression, and the quality, including the audio part, is a world apart from fragmented videos on YouTube and the like. The set was mainly from the 80s, including jams and stacan, and from the 90s, when he was a solo artist, but also included a lot of his recent repertoire. The opening was “Rip The Pages Up”, the B-side of the single “Have You Made Up Your Mind”, and six songs from “ON SUNSET” and “FAT POP (VOLUME 1)”, which were released after his last visit to Japan, as well as a new song “Jumble Queen”, which he started playing last year. This was the final performance of the six performances that started in Osaka on January 26th. The main set was the same for all performances, and only the encore numbers were changed each day. Although the main set was the same here in Tokyo, the encore ended with “Town Called Malice”, which was the only night of the six performances, and it was a real surprise to end the last Japan tour with a jam number.
