Description

From his first solo tour from 1973 to 1974 after S&G broke up in 1970, the performance in Santa Monica, California on May 19th was almost completely recorded in the best quality audience recording to date. Although some of this recording had been distributed on analog and other media up until now, it is a rare recording that has hardly been available among fans, and is truly a miraculously excavated live recording. Moreover, with Urubamba and the Jesse Dixon Singers as backing, the approach to world music can already be seen, and the performance features innovative arrangements of “Sound of Silence,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “Condor Pasa,” making this a must-listen live performance unique to this period.
