The title that includes the edits/mixes that were only included on the Wings promo album will be released. In the 1970s, when Wings was active, it was important to get radio airplay as a promotion for new songs. It was important to get DJs to pick up their own songs and broadcast them, and there were many cases in which new bands’ songs became hits on local radio stations. In order to get it aired within the limited radio broadcast slot, there was a time constraint to play the whole 5 or 6 minutes, so in order to make it easier to get aired, the songs were distributed as promo discs. Many songs were created by editing the original and condensing the essence of the song. This work is a collection of versions that were only included on the promo version. Since it is a promo edit for radio broadcasting, all the versions feel fresh to ears accustomed to listening to the original version. Particularly notable is “Jet,” and it’s surprising how compact it is, from the intro to the ending. Also, songs like “Wine Colored Girl” and “Whisper of the Heart” are quite different from the released versions, so I think it would be fun to listen to and compare them. DISC ONE 01.
