Description

A new item recorded in high quality stereo audience recording from DAT master of a studio live performance held in July just before the release of the seventh album “Peace and Noise”! On July 23, 1997, about two and a half months before the release of the seventh album “Peace and Noise”, a new item has been released that recorded in high quality stereo audience recording of a studio live performance held for the recording of the US TV program “54th Street Sessions” at Sony Music Studio in New York! It has been digitally transferred directly from the DAT master recorded by Taper, who has left many wonderful recordings, and you can enjoy each part, including vocals, with a wide range of clear sound images and high quality sound with good grain like line recording! A total of 11 songs were played on this day, 5 songs were broadcast, and the last song played, “People Have The Power”, is recorded on the regular CD, and only “People Have The Power” is omitted in this work, and the middle part of “Beneath The Southern Cross” is missing, but the rest are recorded uncut including the MC between songs. The concert kicked off with a tense and powerful rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Wicked Messenger,” which was included in their sixth album, “Gone Again,” released the previous year and their first comeback in eight years. The set list featured four songs from their new album, “Peace and Noise,” to be released two months later, and the tight performance of the well-coordinated band produced a thrilling, superb performance!
