From Pat Metheny Group’s 1998 “Imaginary Day” tour, the stereo soundboard sound source of the Warsaw performance that will appear for the first time is now available. This is an official quality item that was recorded in 24-bit digital remastering from the Pre-FM master before it was broadcast, from a live performance held at Congress Hall in Warsaw, Poland on April 23, 1998. Anyway, the sound quality is excellent, and the wide dynamic range and delicate tone reproduction that cannot be expected from an air check sound source are breathtaking. The beauty of the two ballads, “Message To A Friend” and “September Fifteenth” by the duo of Pat & Lyle, will leave fans in tears.
