Description

This work was shot as an audience shot of the “Nakano Sun Plaza” performance on November 6, 1996. The quality is truly superb. It was shot from the rear stand seats facing the center of the stage, but there was nothing blocking the view. You can see every point of the stage. Moreover, the bold zoom is amazing. If you pull it back as much as you can, the whole stage will fit into your field of vision, and if you approach it from there, the screen will be filled with Mark and Yngwie’s waist-up. The sound is also amazing, which is not inferior to the superb view. As expected, it does not reach 2CD, and the stereo feeling is sometimes disturbed in places, but the core that reaches straight is like a laser beam. It is crisp and vivid, and the hall sound amplifies the dynamism while not hiding the details. You can enjoy Yngwie’s light speed passage and Mark’s superb vibrato in detail and plenty. Such superb recordings and superb shots depict a full show that is similar but different from the main press 2CD. Let’s organize it here while comparing it. Original vocal songs: Liar / Queen In Love / You Don’t Remember, I’ll Never Forget (★) / I’ll See The Light Tonight / Rising Force (★) · Instrumental: Far Beyond The Sun / Black Star Cover Ritchie Blackmore songs: Child In Time / Pictures Of Home / Gates of Babylon · Jimi Hendrix songs: Red House (*) / Manic Depression (*) · Others: The Sails of Charon (SCORPIONS) / In the Dead of Night (U.K.) / Carry On Wayward Son (KANSAS) * Note: The “*” mark indicates a song sung mainly by Yngwie. “★” indicates a song that cannot be heard on 2CD… and so on. What I’m most happy about is “You Don’t Remember, I’ll Never Forget” and “Rising Force”. Both are classics, but for some reason, they were not performed on the main press 2CD (first day in Tokyo) even though Mark came to Japan with them. The best song is “Rising Force” at the end of the encore. It is a masterpiece among masterpieces with a catchy melody that drives classically, but when Mark sings it, the balance between “catchy” and “classical” is reversed. A strict and solemn mood is pushed to the front, and many kimonos and hooks emerge from it. He will perform a masterpiece that forcefully expands the possibilities of the major songs. Yngwie has discovered many famous singers, but there is no one who is the strongest and best partner other than Mark Boals. This is an audience set that allows you to experience the best of the two performances in Japan where Mark’s singing was first heard. Please enjoy the true value of the ultimate neo-classical metal combination to your heart’s content. Nakano Sunplaza, Tokyo, Japan 6th November 1996 ANAZING SHOT!!!1. Intro 2. Liar 3.
