This is a recording of the performance at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida on August 7th from Keith Moon’s final US tour in 1976, with a quality that could be considered A-rank for an audience recording of that time. Aside from a cut where the tape ran out in the middle of the last song, “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” the recording is almost complete, with numbers from the just-released “By Numbers” album, and the second half consisting of medleys from the movie “Tommy,” which had just been released at the time, making this a valuable recording that captures the final period of the original Who.
