Description
A precious 2 hour 40 minute recording from the original master provided by the recorder. For some reason, the artist names and song titles are not written on the jacket, but it is an incredibly important recording. The contents are vivid recordings of bands other than the New York Dolls and Jeff Beck from the “World Rock Festival” held at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Nagoya on August 5, 1975. A spectacular recording from 46 years ago. The legendary 1975 World Rock Festival, where Japanese, British and American musicians with true rock spirit came together and realized the dream of standing on stage on an equal footing, was held at five locations nationwide: Makomanai Stadium in Sapporo (August 3), Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Nagoya (August 5), Maruyama Park Outdoor Music Hall in Kyoto (August 6), Korakuen Stadium in Tokyo (August 7), and Sugo Trail Land in Sendai (August 9). This work is the second day of the Nagoya performance. Disc 1 contains 5 songs by bands with two-letter names at the beginning. It’s amazing. 7 songs by bands that you can hear screaming “Today, a baby was born to Ka○o D○da!” (Morning Dew is also on.) 1 song by a psychedelic prog band. Disc 2 contains 30 minutes of blues band performances. They’re doing Stormy Monday. Disc 3 contains 1 hour of legendary festival band performances. Felix Pappalardi also participates and plays Theme For An Imaginary Western and Nantucket Sleighride. The final grand finale is also moving. A rare 3-disc set that is a must-listen for 70’s rock fans. I’ll write it again, but the artist name and song title are not listed on the jacket or label. But you’ll definitely enjoy it.
