Description
The highest sound quality album from TOTO’s 2013 tour from the European circuit to North America as “Toto’s 35th Anniversary Tour” is now available. The 5th performance of the 2013 tour, the Berlin performance on June 5th, is completely recorded for 2 hours and 16 minutes with ultra-high quality audience recording. The sound balance is top class, and fortunately there are no annoying spectators nearby, so you can enjoy the entire show with the highest level of sound that is extremely easy to listen to. Although half a year has passed since the performance, the Berlin performance sound source has recently become available and boasts one of the best sound quality of the much-anticipated tour. This year, a Japan tour is scheduled from late April to early May, including a performance at Budokan for the first time in a long time, but for fans who want to listen to some good-sounding, up-to-date sound sources as a warm-up before the live show. You could say it’s the perfect piece. It’s a truly splendid recording, with an exquisite sound balance of neither too close nor too far, and just the right amount of directness, just like a mirror of the audience recording. The clear feel of the sound and the warmth of the sound that can only be achieved through microphone recording are felt, allowing fans to enjoy TOTO’s latest live performance with the best sound. The sound of Lukather’s guitar that comes out forward is also captured with the best feel, and fans are sure to be very satisfied with the presence of the sound that fills the speakers and exceeds their expectations. From hard to delicate plays, it is captured with truly stunning sound, and you can enjoy the entire show with a sound that will make you happy when you listen to it. It has been recorded with great sound from the beginning, but the sound quality seems to be improving steadily, and disc 2, which includes the second half, is recorded with a truly amazing sound. From the same European tour, “35th Anniversary European Tour 2013” and its Volume 2 have been released as a 4-disc set, totaling 4 performances, but of course, this edition is recorded with the finest sound that surpasses all of them. The content is excellent and recommended for fans of all levels. In recent years, TOTO’s members have remained fixed, with Steve Lukather, David Paich, and Simon Phillips at the core, along with Steve Porcaro, Joseph Williams, and the masterful Nathan East, who joined in 2011. You can listen to a spectacular band ensemble made up of members who are in tune with each other. The set has changed considerably on this tour, and the opening song is On The Run, which is rare. The set and performance are typical of the 35th Anniversary Tour, including Goodbye Elenore in the medley and interjecting phrases from Child’s Anthem. As a rare song, It’s A Feeling from “IV” is being played on this tour, and you can listen to a wonderful play with a profound groove that makes it hard to believe that it has never been played on stage before. (It’s A Feeling is unusually played after Rosanna on this day.) After the performance of the song, Lukather’s MC is moving.
