Description

In 1979, with the release of the masterpiece album “Street Beat”, a special promotional live performance at Golden Bear, a famous live house on the West Coast, was released as a soundboard recording item that thrilled fans. The first song starts with the famous song “Car Wars”, which was used as the theme song of the nostalgic Dynamite Kid. The song was a bit plain when recorded in the studio, but when played live, the groove is filled with a sense of groove that gives it a different feel. Unlike the studio version, which had multiple recordings, the one-shot stage is a simpler and funk-tinged performance, which is really cool. The backing members are Carlos Rios, who has many fans as a session guitarist, David Garfield, a keyboard player who is also famous as a producer, Neal Steubenhouse, who is famous for his collaborations with Barbra Streisand, on bass, and in recent years on drums. Vinnie Colaiuta, who also participated in Jeff Beck’s tour, and all the members are really great, and this live sound source has been unearthed! !
