The fourth performance of his 2024 solo Japan tour “EVERYTHING”, the second day in Tokyo, was held at LINE Cube Shibuya on November 16th. This DVD edition includes a full recording with a multi-stereo IEM matrix and high-quality audience shots of the live performance. First, the different stereo IEM sources that Tom used on stage were mixed with the digital audience source in an exquisite balance to create a multi-IEM matrix, and the direct and clear sound unique to stereo line sound sources and the hybrid sound that conveys the heat of the sold-out venue to the fullest, perfectly reproducing the day’s performance without the clicks and guides that are typical of IEM sound sources. Furthermore, the DVD footage from a digital camera was a good shot from the sweet spot in the middle of the first floor of the venue, capturing the entire artistic production behind Tom that visually embodies his sound world, and the audio part was synchronized with the CD’s multi-IEM matrix source, and the quality, including the audio, is a world apart from fragmented footage on YouTube and other sites. Tom started the day with his solo song “The Eraser” on piano, and then, like the previous day, he performed songs based on piano and guitar, sometimes using synths, rhythm machines, and effects, such as Radiohead, Atmos for Peace, and solo numbers mainly based on “Anima”, as if to summarize his extensive career so far. The set was changed each day for all 10 performances, including the additional performance, which became a hot topic, and since it was a two-night consecutive performance here in Tokyo, there was a major change in the set, so as a fan, it is a limited-edition memorial item for Japan that you will want to keep as a set with the previous day.
