The concert held at Watkins Glen, N.Y. on July 28, 1973, featured three big bands: The Band, the Grateful Dead, and the Allman Brothers Band. It is known as the largest historical concert in rock history, with an audience of over 600,000 people, surpassing that of Woodstock. All of the footage has been digitally remastered by recently discovered audience masters, from the band’s performance to the summer jam session where the Dead, Allman, and other members of the band gathered together.
