Description
On July 16, 1969, they performed at the Chauffeur Music Festival, an annual outdoor rock event from the 1960s to the 70s, in Central Park, New York. Almost complete recording from a good audience master, which does not seem like an outdoor recording. First of all, this year’s festival, which also featured Zeppelin and the Jeff Beck Group, was filled with a different kind of excitement from Woodstock, which was to be held later, and TYA also made waves around the world with their legendary performance at Woodstock. This is the live performance just before they make a name for themselves. From “Spoonful” to the last song “I’m Going Home,” their precious early stages are reproduced here. 01. Spoonful/02. No Title/03. Hobbit/04. Help Me/05. I’m Going Home [Live At Central Park, NYC, NY, USA, July 16th 1969] Alvin Lee (Guitar,Vocal) / Chick Churchill (Organ,Electric Piano) / Leo Lyons (Bass) / Ric Lee (Drums)
