Description
The 2008 reunion gig and the live performance at the large festival in Serbia are recorded in good stereo audience recordings without cuts! The 2007 reunion, which was held to commemorate 30 years since the release of the album “Katte ni Shiyagare”, was held in various countries from June 2008 to September. This work is a rare sound source that recorded the live performance at the Exit Festival, a large festival held on July 13th, 2008 at the Petrovaradin Fortress, a historical building in Serbia, where about 200,000 people attended, with a good stereo audience recording! Although the sound image is a bit boosted, it is a fairly good sound quality for a recording at a large venue of 200,000 people, with a wide range, large vocals, and a good balance of each part, and it is recorded with good sound quality that is rough but powerful. In addition, several small dropouts caused by the master have been carefully corrected. There are a few seconds missing in the intro of “Liar”, but the rest is recorded completely. From the opening song “Pretty Vacant,” the band can be seen enjoying themselves in front of the heated audience, and they put on one of the best performances of this tour! John asks the audience, “Should the United States still be stationed in Iraq?” The audience shows their anger towards the United States by booing, and you can’t miss the performance of “Baghdad Was A Blast,” which is a version of “Belsen Was A Gas” with changed lyrics, performed with John’s MC, “Erase USA, praise Serbia!” In the second encore, they also play Hawkwind’s cover “Silver Machine”! You can enjoy it to the end of the encore, “Road Runner”!
