Description
The first release of a treasured recording of a gig held in France in September 1976, recorded in high quality stereo audience recording! The same label’s previously released “CHALET DU LAC 1976” recorded the live performance on the 5th day of the gig held at Chalet du Lac in Paris, France, for two days on September 3rd and 5th, 1976, in high quality stereo audience recording, but it has been newly digitally transferred from the original low gene master, and remastered to improve small details such as a few seconds of dropout! The remastered sound source circulating on the Internet is described as correcting the pitch shift, but the cymbals have become shuwashu due to the slow shift and the high range being raised too much, and the part where only one channel drops out for a few seconds at the beginning of “Stepping Stone” remains as it is, but in this work, the pitch and position shift from the low gene master, as well as the dropout parts that were left as they were on the previous release, have been carefully corrected, and the remastering that emphasizes the original sound has been newly released as the definitive version of this Paris performance! The gig on the 3rd took place in the middle of the night at the Paris disco Chalet du Lac, and is said to have been packed with 2,000 people, with a standing capacity of about 800, but due to flight times back to London, the gig started at 4pm and took place in front of an audience of about 200 people. The audience, which was packed with disco teddy boys, was quiet, but the performance was powerful throughout!
