From the North American tour accompanying “Moonflower” in 1978, the late show of the Palladium performance in New York was completely recorded with an official level ultra-high-quality stereo soundboard recording on February 9th. The title “Rhythm Flow” that recorded the previous early show was also a wonderful content, but this late show perfectly recorded the last number 12 minutes of Samba Pa Ti, which was not recorded in the early show title. There is no problem with the opening number heard at the early show and the guitar trouble at Europa, and you can listen to a perfect and dynamic performance from the first song Dance Sister Dance. Santana’s groove-filled guitar playing is also great, but the percussion and Graham Rea’s intertwined drumming are amazing, and you can feel that he is leading the entire band.
