Description

At the beginning of 2020, a new shocking master from the Randy Rhoads era has been discovered! The one that was sucked into the impact master was “South Fallsburg performance on August 8, 1981.” This is the full audience recording. Some people may be attracted to the easy-to-remember dates arranged in a row of 8. Yes, this was the show where “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981″ was once very popular. This work is neither a remaster nor a young generation master. It is a completely new master that is a completely different recording. All of a sudden I started talking about it being “very popular” and “completely different,” but if you haven’t experienced “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981,” you’ll be left wondering. In order to explain from the beginning, let’s start with an overview of the activities during the Randy era (if you are familiar with the previous editions, please skip this). 1980《“BLIZZARD OF OZZ” released on September 12》・September 3-November 8: UK (37 performances) 1981《Bob/Lee changed to Rudy/Tommy》・April 22-7 August 29th: North America #1a (61 performances) August 1st: HM HOLOCAUST appearance August 2nd – September 13th: North America #1b (33 performances) ←★Here★《November 7th “DIARY OF A MADMAN” released》 November 1st – December 2nd: Europe (11 performances) [Lindsay Bridgewater replaced by Don Airey》 December 30th + 31st: North America #2a (2 performances) 1982・January 1st – March 18th: North America #2b (44 performances) [Randy Rhoads passed away on March 19th] This is the whole story of the days when Ozzy & Randy shared the stage. Even though it was called the “Randy era”, there were three types in the lineup. The only time the original BLIZZARD’s Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake were there was in the 1980 “British” leg. In 1981/1982 it was all Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldrich. Another change is the keyboard. Don Airey, who originally played on the album, did not participate in the tour, and Lindsay Bridgewater played most of 1981 from the debut stage. After that, there were two performances at the end of 1981 and Don Airey in 1982. Among them, this work is the “Rudy/Tommy/Lindsay” era that can be called “Tour II period”. This was the 6th concert of “North America #1b” on the above schedule. [Shocking new master that surpasses previous releases in both length and sound] This work recorded at such a show is a new master as mentioned above. Moreover, it is not just a new excavation. The “luvsufo” collection has been attracting collectors around the world since last year, and was transferred by the prestigious excavator “Krw_co”. This is another mania noun lined up, but this duo has been releasing unreleased top-quality masters one after another since last year, and it’s been a bit of a boom. RAINBOW’s “HARRISBURG 1982” is very popular at our store, and we follow the same route as that masterpiece. In fact, the quality of this work exceeds the previously released “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981”. Of course, this work is superior in several points. First and foremost, the length. “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981” starts recording in the middle of “Carmina Burana” at the beginning of the show, and the tape ends by “Children Of The Grave” at the end of the show. I couldn’t listen to the encore “Paranoid”. On the other hand, this work was recorded before “Carmina Burana” started flowing at the beginning of the performance, and was recorded firmly until after “Paranoid” ended. The full show is completely recorded. Of course, tape change cuts were inevitable, and about 13 seconds in the middle of the drum solo were missing, but that was supplemented with “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981”. We created a seamless complete album from before the show to after the show. The sound is even more shocking than its length. “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981” was also a great recording, but unfortunately the audience noise was large (although it made you feel the enthusiasm of the time more realistically). However, this new master has a very thick core that is roaring on, but there is no fuss that hides the details. To be precise, an enthusiastic voice is also included, but it is strangely far away, and the performance sound and singing voice are much closer and powerful. Moreover, even though it is powerful, it has a sense of stability that does not make it loud. If you have experienced “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981”, you can imagine how wonderful it would be if you could keep the audience’s screams away from that recording. This work embodies this with actual sound! [Randy’s guitar is blazing and the band is in top shape] The sound depicts a full show that can be said to be a 100% real experience of “TRIBUTE”. Of course, it is a different concert from “TRIBUTE”, but the Cleveland performance, which was the main part of that masterpiece, was about 3 months before this work, and the Montreal performance, where “Suicide Solution” was adopted, was just a few months before this work. 11 days ago. The melody played by Randy is so delicate that it feels like it would break if touched, but at the same time it is wild and ferocious in a way that cannot be compared to the studio recording. Although it is a performance that I experienced at “MUSIC MOUNTAIN 1981”, I can enjoy it as if it were right in front of me, without being disturbed by the surrounding noise. And Ozzy Osbourne, who has such Randy on his side, is also in great condition. Ozzy is said to be synonymous with an unstable singer, but there are times when he can turn that around. This work is a show like a sample of that, almost never missing the sound, and the highs extend without danger. I forgot to write about it because of the amazing guitar sound, but the drums in this work are also amazing. Tommy’s hard attack sound is clearly felt, and it also has a lot of closeness. Although Lindsay doesn’t play well enough to make out her individuality, the original phrases are well reproduced, and the beautiful synths are sprinkled with glitter, giving us a full taste of the 1981 show, which was the epitome of dramaticism. It is. It is amazing that a new recording has appeared nearly 40 years later, but the content was far from that. Already released and Diffmaster. Astonishingly high sound quality. First appearance sound source. A shocking must-listen album that is sure to become the best title of the year, coming early in the new year!
