The 1983 UK tour for “Bark At The Moon” was recorded in Newcastle, Mayfair on November 18th, and the performance is recorded in a superb audience recording of about 70 minutes. The superb master provided by Crazy S. is used directly, and the quality is excellent for an audience recording of this period, recreating the 1983 UK tour with the strongest members, Jake E. Lee, Carmine Appice, Bob Daisley, and Don Airey. Carmine’s original drumming reminiscent of Cozy makes the image of the live performance of this period unique, and above all, Jake’s guitar, which can be heard in various places, is so amazing, and the solos, riffs and powerful play are goosebumps. Also, numbers such as Rock ‘N’ Roll Rebel and Centre Of Eternity, which probably will not be played on Ozzy’s stage, are fun to listen to. Other must-listens include Jake’s demonic long solo playing in Suicide Solution, which starts with Ozzy’s MC “Let’s Get’em Head-bangin!!”, and Crazy Train, which is technical yet has a strong groove! 1.
