Description
From the 1973 tour backed by the Stray Gators, the LA Forum performance on March 25th is recorded as a stereo audience recording of amazing sound quality. We use the sound source that was released last year along with the best-selling “TIME AND WORDS” performance in Detroit. After all, the sound quality is excellent, and the mild sound quality with plenty of analog feel, similar to King Crimson’s Berkeley performance in the same year (coincidentally, the same West Coast performance), is very pleasant to listen to. Yet, what is surprising is the closeness of the performance, and the sound image that is close to the performance from the beginning of Neil’s set alone evolves into a powerful sound pressure like a line recording when the band joins. And above all, you may be surprised that a sound source boasting such high sound quality has not been released until now. Naturally, the pitch, which was high, has also been accurately adjusted. Moreover, the stage and band composition are completely different from “TIME AND WORDS” which was at the beginning of the tour, and it is a feature only at this time that Crosby & Nash joins in the latter half of the set. With their addition, the vocal work in particular has become richer, and the overall performance is complete. In “TIME AND WORDS”, an extremely valuable repertoire was played, but this is a must-listen title for fans that reproduces the famous performance at the second half of the tour and the LA Forum with amazing high-quality sound that easily exceeds that. is the release.
