Description
In 1999, in order to promote the new work “Hours”, a short tour was held for only 9 times in America and Europe, and on December 4th, Italy’s Alcatraz performance in Milan was completely recorded for the first time in ultra-high sound quality comparable to that of a soundboard. It’s here. It’s hard to believe that it was put together for less than 10 concerts.Enjoy the wonderful stage full of highlights, with the highest quality sound that doesn’t sound like an exaggeration to say “official level”. It is possible. (Probably the best sound quality in the history of Bowie live albums.) Two new guitarists, Mark Plati and Page Hamilton, will be joining in to replace Reeves Gabrels, who has supported Bowie with his wonderful playing since the TIN MACHINE era. Although Page only participated in this tour, he will be able to listen to his wonderful lead play throughout the entire album. (Mark will be in charge of rhythm guitar until the Heathen tour.) Technical drummer Sterling Campbell, who is familiar from the latest Reality tour, will be participating from this tour. The concert started with Life On Mars?, which Bowie sings dramatically by himself with Mike Garson’s piano in the background. From “hours”, Thursday’s Child, Survive, Something In The Air, Seven, The Pretty Things Are Going To Hell are played. This tour’s unique set list is perfect for listening, and there is no doubt that it will become one of the most important items for Bowie fans. A night in Milan in 1999, full of elegance and stimulation, brought back to life with the finest sound quality. Please enjoy it.
