Description

This is a rare live recording of a professional shot from the 70s by AWB, a white funk band known for having Hamish Stewart, who would later join Paul McCartney’s band, and Steve Felloni, who would later join Clapton’s band. The first half contains four songs from a TV live performance in 1974. The second half contains a live performance with Ben E. King at the Montreux Jazz Festival on August 31, 1977, which was aired on the same program. Both are official quality recordings, totaling one hour. (Average White Band) [Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert 1974] 01.Pick Up The Pieces/02.Work To Do/03.I Just Can’t Give You Up/04.Got The Love (Average White Band & Ben E. King) [Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert August 31 1977] 05.Keepin’ It To Myself/06.Star In The Ghetto/07.The Message /08.Fool For You Anyway/09.Spanish Harlem/10.Don’t Play That Song
