Description
Formed in London in 1962, their first single “She is Not There” suddenly became a huge hit in 1964. After that, the Zombies disbanded in 1968, sending many big hit numbers into the hit charts in the 1960s, such as “Time Of The Season” (Season for Two). Afterwards, vocalist Colin Blunstone became a solo artist, and Argent formed a new band named after himself, “Argent.” In 2004, Argent became a solo artist. The duo released an album under the name Zombies, and since then they have continued to perform live performances constantly. Their live performance at the Lincoln Theater in Washington D.C. on October 8, 2015 is completely recorded with a stereo soundboard sound source from the FM on-air master. First of all, this is a live show just before the release of their fourth album “Still Got That Hunger” since restarting, and in addition to Argent and Colin, original members Chris White and Hugh Grundy will also be in attendance. Participate. The show will consist of two parts, with the first half featuring plenty of representative songs from the same album, including six new songs included in the set. Furthermore, the second half of the second part is a complete reproduction of the masterpiece’s highly praised second album “Odyssey and Oracle” released in 1968, in the same way as the album, and it features ambitious songs such as the extensive introduction of Mellotron at the time.
