Description

The first performance on the 27th, which will be the first appearance from the 5 consecutive performances at Zawinul’s Oshishita Yoshizu, which has become a topic of discussion among fans, was held just before the release of “My People”, which is said to be Zawinul Syndicate’s masterpiece. Introducing a super hot big name performance that includes the complete recording of the second two concerts! ! ! Joe Zawinul has condensed all the good music from around the world and created unique and original music that no one else has been able to do. When I think about it, I discovered the possibility of genre-less music from my encounter with Miles in the 60s, and with Weather Report I expanded my range to include borderless music, and with my own group, Syndicate, I went deeper and finally found my ideal sound. A true Virtuoso. At its peak, Zawinul and the Syndicate held a series of 5 concerts in August at the famous Yoshi’s in Jack London Square, which is said to be Zawinul’s home ground in California, which Zawinul likes the most. From the performance, the show that was held twice on the 27th, which has not been released so far, is recorded in the highest quality stereo sound with the label’s own careful mastering to the parent master recorded for records by the parties involved. (Usagi ni Kakune is too good!) A super hot 3-disc set completely recorded over 3 hours has arrived! ! ! Both performances opened with “Ochi Bala Pacharik” from “My People”, followed by “Introduction to a Mighty Theme” from the same album, performed by African Malian superstar Salif Keita. The famous song “Walaya” that became Keita’s work (incidentally, Zawinul, who became good friends through the production of the masterpiece that raised Keita’s worldwide recognition, also used Keita in “My People”) Keita sang the song in the studio version, but here you can hear Zawinul’s own vocals using a vocoder. They then performed “Bimoya” and the main songs of “My People”. In addition, we include Syndicate’s representative songs and weather songs, and also include numbers that can only be performed at each show, giving a full-fledged performance at both performances! The large audience was transfixed by stateless hyper music full of exoticism that they had never experienced before! The super group, which brings together extremely talented artists from all over the world, led by Zawinul from Austria, will put all of their talents under the direction of the brilliant Zawinul, and the ensemble and performance will be truly spectacular. In particular, the drums of the genius Paco, who was completely self-taught, the explosive bass of Zawinul’s favorite, Bailey, who has discovered many outstanding bassists, and the whirlwind rhythm ensemble of Badrena’s bouncing percussion rhythm section. There is no sound! Zawinul’s meticulous keyboard manipulation and precise rhythm construction, including his synths, which pay particular attention to the tone, are a perfect match for the outstanding improvisers of the members, led by Zawinul. The live version of Zawinul’s pinnacle of his career, “My People,” presents a colorful sound with a documentary feel that feels like painting on a campus, and colors that are invisible to the eye. Both performances are completely recorded for 3 hours, with miraculous super high-quality sound, and are a must-listen album for all the famous performances on their home turf.
