Description

The 1979 “Tomato” US tour, held on April 13th in Louisville, Kentucky, was recorded from the soundboard source of the broadcast master. This tour, which started in August 1978 and was held on June 30th, 1979, was held on the largest scale of 101 shows, and the set shifted depending on the day, but this day was almost a standard set, and songs that were not on the previous UK tour, such as “Love for Whales” and “Wings of Freedom”, were included in the set for this April performance. The first half of the show was a big medley of nearly 25 minutes from “Time and a Word” to “Soon”, and the second half was “Awaken” with Rick’s keyboard solo in between, which livened up the show, and the thank-you song to the audience, “Tour Song”, was also a big hit, and the last song was the most exciting “Roundabout”. This live performance, which can be said to be the last brilliance of Yes in the 70s, is a must-listen for fans.
