Description
This title is a complete recording of the April 19th performance at Orchard Hall, which was a three-day concert in Tokyo since their 2017 Japan tour, with the familiar matrix sound source. Just before their 2017 Japan tour, they renamed it “YES Featuring ARW” to appeal to the fans that they are YES themselves. And finally, the final day of their Japan tour in Tokyo is recorded in a full matrix with the line sound source from the uncompressed multi-ear monitor source used by the band members on stage and the digital audience master from the front row. This is already a familiar thing for the label, and in recent years, in addition to the dramatic evolution of sound factors such as the equipment and mastering environment used, the members use multiple monitor sources with different mix balances, and the exquisite audience source by professional use is mixed and stereo-mixed, so this time it is completely at the quality of a stereo soundboard sound source. As it was the final day of a three-night series of performances at the same hall, the atmosphere was somewhat relaxed, and although the set was the same as the previous two performances, the band’s cohesion was at its best on this day, and while it was great to be able to enjoy the performance that only these members could give, it was also interesting to compare the overall differences in arrangements, show structure, concept, etc. with the original Yes.
