Description
YES is currently in the midst of their 50th anniversary in Japan. The guest appearance of Tony Kaye and the extremely rare set, which includes plenty of songs released for the first time in Japan, have also become a hot topic, and the masterpiece original recording has just arrived. This is the first and fastest release decision! This work includes the “February 20, 2019: Amasin Archaic Hall” performance. First of all, let’s check the show position on this tour schedule. ・February 19th: Zepp Nagoya ・February 20th: Amashin Archaic Hall [This work] ・February 22nd: Tokyo Dome City Hall ・February 23rd: Tokyo Dome City Hall ・February 24th: Tokyo Dome City Hall There are 5 performances in total. This emergency update is from the opening day in Tokyo, and the Amagasaki performance was the night before last. It is truly the fastest release. I thought the quality was not good enough since it was recorded, but it is an incredible masterpiece. Although this is the original master provided by the recording artist himself, the sound that absorbed the venue acoustics is not the type that can be mistaken for a line recording, but it is a good point for the YES show. It is a beautiful recording with chorus work and beautiful melodies falling from heaven. Of course, there is no point in having the venue sound blurry, but there is no need to worry about that with this work. Each note of 5 people (+1 person) has a very thick core, and the details are vivid. Each instrument pours out beautiful melodies as if competing with each other, yet each melody that weaves the ensemble together is exquisite. After all, even the deep bass that influences the quality of the customer record is wonderful. The bass has a solid feel to it without being distorted, and the flowing lines are clearly drawn. Then, there is a rich and responsive midrange sound, and sparkling high notes dance…In fact, it is because it is unprocessed and exquisite that it was possible to release it at such a fast pace. What is depicted with that quality is a storm of extremely rare songs. Surprisingly, we played “Yours Is No Disgrace” and “We Can Fly” for the first time in 2012, but also “Sweet Dreams” from “Time and Words”, “Parallels” from “Ultimate”, and “Tomato” “Madrigal”, “Nine Voices (Longwalker)” from “Ladder”, etc. Including songs released for the first time in Japan, a historical show that concentrates 50 years of YES glory will be held. What’s even more surprising is the complete reproduction of the famous album “Kisai”. Initially, it was announced that the performance would only be performed on the first day in Tokyo (that is, today), but the performance was performed in its entirety in the same order as in Nagoya and Amagasaki. Moreover, the performance is wonderful. Currently, it is being highly praised in various quarters as “better than the last time it was reproduced five years ago!”, but the sound of this work is perfect for its subtleties. This is a live album where you can fully enjoy the whole story with great sound, including extremely rare masterpieces and live performance versions of great masterpieces. Tokyo 3DAYS is finally starting tonight. What will happen to the daily specials announced in advance? Is there a surprise to replace the “crisis” that has already been completely reproduced? And I wonder how many wonderful recordings will come out… The fastest first news that will make you unstoppable. This is the first book to thoroughly enjoy the 50th anniversary, which will never happen again.
