Description

The truly “ultimate” Jesus Live CD is now available! ! Complete recording of the Cologne performance on November 29th in the second half of the European tour accompanying “Going For The One” in 1977 for about 2 hours with the highest level of ultra-high quality audience recording. The 1977 tour has been blessed with high-quality sound sources for a long time, but in recent years, the recordings of November 12th in Gothenburg, Sweden, Millard’s recordings at the LA Forum on September 23rd and the Long Beach performance on the 26th are in master quality. Released, each has been evaluated as the definitive tour edition, but this edition is recorded with the highest sound quality that even exceeds those high-grade titles. If you’re a Yes sound source collector, you’ll probably think “this is amazing!” just by hearing the lick synth sound that overlays Firebird Suite at the beginning, but the opening number Parallels will make you believe it. Anyway, the way Alan White plays the snare drum is clearer than anything I’ve ever heard on the 1977 tour, and there’s no doubt that you’ll be excited and astonished by the crisp, scale-filled sound image. Parallels The guitar solo from around 2:30 is backed by a strong rhythm section, and the amazing rhythm section of Rick’s synth solo from around 3:18 is enough to leave you stunned. Howe’s solo play in the second half is also spectacular, and you can enjoy a groove like you’ve never experienced before! If the musical sound is turned on this far, the sound will get clogged, but the good thing about this sound source is that it gives you a direct feeling of sound, clear clarity, and a moderate amount of space at the same time. You can enjoy the best sound with ideal balance. The sound can only be described as the result of the perfect combination of the sound output, the position of the recorder, and various other conditions. The vocals of I’ve Seen All Good People are also really beautiful, making me believe that this is the “ultimate audience recording”. Some people may be so moved that they burst into tears while listening to this part. This is an exceptional sound image. You can listen to Close To The Edge (Howe’s solo in the first half is spectacular!), Turn Of The Century, And You And I, Going For The One, Awaken, Yours Is No Disgrace, and other Yes classics that represent the 1977 tour. However, it is such an exquisite sound source that you will listen to it with a feeling of excitement for the first time in a while, wondering what kind of sound will come out of the speakers. The tape change between songs is only at the ending of Colors Of The Rainbow, so there is almost no musical loss overall. The definitive edition of the definitive edition that proves once again that 1977’s Yes was such a tremendous live band. Overwhelming scale and quality.
