Wishbone Ash/Tokyo,Japan 1975

The band’s first performance in Japan in 1975 was held once in Osaka and twice in Tokyo, and the final day of these performances, February 21st, at Nakano Sunplaza, was recorded by coupling two types of audience sources. RECORDER 1 is a raw CD that was made directly from the master cassette, and starts with “Don’t Come Back” from “THERE’S THE RUB”, with a perfect sound from the intro riff. Furthermore, the rhythm section of Martin Turner and Steve Upton also has a great sense of separation, and it seems as if the four-member ensemble is being recreated right in front of your eyes.Although the encore part is not recorded, it seems to be an audience recording from the 1970s. Not a clear one. And although the recording with RECORDER 2 is a little distant and does not have the sense of separation, it is a complete recording including an encore, and the last 2 songs of “No Easy Road” and “Where Were You Tomorrow” are 20 minutes long. Songs are valuable sound sources. In addition, four bonus tracks from the Reading Festival held on August 24th of the same year are included, with a quality that belies any outdoor recording.
