This work contains the same “January 19, 1985 Rio de Janeiro performance” as the CD. This is a multi-camera pro shot from the second day of “ROCK IN RIO”, which had two performances. “ROCK IN RIO pro shots” are famous old footage, and our shop still has “ROCK IN RIO 1985”, which allows you to enjoy the entire two days. Some people may say “Again?”, but in fact this work is a little different. It is a mini upgrade version that has been re-washed and re-constructed from the best masters excavated in 2021. The point here is that it is called “mini”. As mentioned in the commentary on the main press CD, there are currently several partial masters with different quality. Therefore, it is a full-length version based on our master, which is still the highest peak, and a partial quality-up master has been added. The up master appears… suddenly explodes from the beginning! The four of them are shown standing on a synth that announces the start of the show, but this is already completely official! It’s a master quality version that has been rumored for over 30 years and has been said to be “there’s nothing left.” Moreover, the sound is also a superb stereo soundboard. A few years ago, there was a story that Coverdale approached the owner of the master to make an official reprint, but it was thwarted because he was charged a high price, but this may be the master. I would love to see a complete version of the WHITESNAKE edition, and if the white snake remains, QUEEN, Ozzy, AC/DC, etc. … It’s so superb that it’s almost crazy with delusions and expectations. As mentioned above, the best master is partial, so it will return to the conventional master in a few minutes, but the parts other than the opening part are collected as bonus footage. And another bonus video is “WHISTLE TEST”. This also has soundboard audio recorded on the CD, but it’s basically a TV broadcast pro shot. Although it is only “Love Ain’t No Stranger”, you can enjoy a rare version with a quality that exceeds the main broadcast with video. Although it has become long with only an overview, this show is still wonderful. Cozy who knew that this day was the last, and John Sykes & Neil Murray who became the last without knowing.
