This is not the 1982 “Playboy Jazz Festival” which contained two Weather songs that could be heard on the official two-disc release from Elektra, but the performance at the “Playboy Jazz Festival” held at the Hollywood Bowl in June 1984, which is said to be the legendary great performance that decorated the final chapter of Weather’s history, which ended with their performance in Japan in September, and is finally available for the first time as a complete recording in high quality sound!
