Description
The show in New York on September 5th during the 1987 quintet tour of the US was recorded over 1 hour and 52 minutes, with a high-quality audience master and the latest remastering in 2024. First of all, the original master is of very good quality, and the latest equipment has been used to correct the pitch and reduce hiss noise, and the level adjustments have been perfect, including the unnatural parts of the opening. The following year, the band collaborated with various musicians, including Carlos Santana and Linny Rosnes, and unlike the members who remained almost constant in their later years, they welcomed Jim Baird, who is also known for his sessions with Pat Metheny and John McLaughlin, and many of the tracks were selected from “Phantom Navigator” and “Atlantis,” which were released during this period. Such sets are relatively rare, and it is rare to see such ensemble-oriented members performing together, so fans should check it out.
