Description
Even after MOTLEYCRUE ceased activities, Vince Neil continues to sing famous songs as a solo singer. A masterpiece live set that records his latest show is now available. This work includes “August 29, 2019 Syracuse performance”. This is an audience 2-disc set that mainly includes the best full recording and also includes a video version of the same show. At our store, the coupling work “HUBER HEIGHTS 2019” with Sammy Hagar was announced, but Vince is still touring even now that Sammy has returned to his hometown. First of all, let’s check the show’s position from the schedule in order to know his current situation. ●2019 January 26th/February 15th + 17th: North America #1 (3 performances) March 16th – April 7th: North America #2 (9 performances) April 27th – June 8th Sun: North America #3 (11 performances) June 28th – November 16th: North America #4 (31 performances) ←★Here★● January 10th, 2020: Northfield performance This has been announced so far Dates for 2019/2020. Although it may not be called overcrowded, you can see how they work at their own pace, performing on stage regularly. Among them, the most active one is “North America #4” from summer to autumn. The Syracuse performance of this work was the 19th concert. This work was recorded at such a show, and as mentioned earlier, it is a coupling of a live album and a video version. Let’s introduce each one individually here. [DISC 1: Full best audience recording] First of all, the main audience recording of this work appears. What’s amazing is the core that approaches powerfully when turned on. It must be an audience recording that absorbs the enthusiasm of the scene, but the response is different from the audience record. The contours of the guitar and vocals are sharp and sharp, and they slam right in front of you without any sense of distance. Even more amazing is the deep bass. The bass and drums are extremely thick and have a great sense of power. If it’s this intense, it wouldn’t be strange if the bass was distorted to a pulp, but for some reason it doesn’t chatter or distort at all…it’s a powerful recording. In fact, although the cheering from the audience is realistically absorbed, the performance and singing voices suppress it through brute force. That sound also suits MOTLEY CRUE perfectly. The backing team is made up of members of the current SLAUGHTER band, but the ensemble is top-notch and perfectly reproduces that bold groove. It is a sound that further enhances the taste of such a free-spirited performance. Modern digital equipment is able to produce such a powerful sound while also being extremely easy to listen to. And the show drawn with such a sound is MOTLEY CRUE’s concentrated reduction +α. Organizing the set… ●SHOUT AT THE DEVIL (2 songs) ・Shout At The Devil, Looks That Kill ●GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS (2 songs) ・Girls Girls Girls, Wild Side ●DR. FEELGOOD (4 songs) )・Dr. Feelgood, Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away), Same Ol’ Situation (S.O.S.), Kickstart My Heart ●Others (3 songs)・Home Sweet Home (THEATER OF PAIN), Heaven And Hell (Black・Sabbath), We Will Rock You (Queen)…and so on. It’s as luxurious as a best-of album, but there are covers of BLACK SABBATH and QUEEN sung by guitarist Jeff Brando. “Heaven And Hell” has been in my repertoire for a while, but “We Will Rock You” is something I only started doing this year. At first, the original arrangement invites choruses, but then develops into a fast version. The fast part also has a metallic finish that is different from QUEEN, and at the end it returns to a heavy mid. From there, Vince returns, and the song quickly descends into “Kickstart My Heart,” where the groove accelerates. Although it makes you think it’s just a cover of a popular song, it’s a really cool and stylish version. [DISC 2: Video of the day synchronized with the best audio] Following such a full recording is a video edition that shows the “other side” of the live album. This is an audience shot from the same Syracuse performance. This disc contains two types of videos, both of which are incomplete but of exceptional quality. You can thoroughly enjoy the day’s show in a total of 1 hour and 11 minutes. “Recorder 1” appears first, but this features the opening part, and includes the first three songs from the previous episode, “Dr. Feelgood,” “Shout At The Devil,” and “Looks That Kill.” The amazing thing about this video is how close it is! The photo was taken from the front row near the stage (directly in front of Dana Strum), and there was no room for shadows from the front row, so the entire field of view was the stage. This is the same viewpoint as the camera pit, and although there is a zoom, Dana and Vince can be seen in close-up shots even without that. Although it is a bit blurry, it is a powerful video that looks like a professional shot from an angle. I would like to enjoy the full show as it is, but unfortunately “Recorder 1” ends with three songs. The long “Recorder 2” more than makes up for the lack of food. This is a spectacular shot with the center of the stage directly in front of you. Although it’s not the front row, it’s still close to the 4th and 5th rows, and it’s great to be able to see the stage directly over the heads of the audience in front of you with no obstructions. Furthermore, this one also has a great sense of stability. Although it yields to “Recorder 1” in terms of its powerful impact, “Recorder 2” is definitely the one that allows you to enjoy it thoroughly even if it is a long movie. It’s a real shame that it’s not a complete version because “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)” and Jeff’s guitar solo are not included… Audio is what brings these two images from different perspectives together. The best sound on disk 1 is synchronized, but this has an effect more than just quality. Normally, when you synchronize an audience recording, there is a sense of discomfort in the sense of distance and direction from the scene, but the main recording has a close sound, so it fits into any scene with a sense of distance. It’s as if the soundboard audio has been applied, increasing the charm of the scenery many times over. Vince Neil’s latest tour performing MOTLEY CRUE’s famous songs with members of SLAUGHTER (by the way, SLAUGHTER itself is also on tour at the same time. There are some dates that are not coupling dates, but it seems that they are doing a lot of work to balance it out) . The tight ensemble is as good as the original, and the feeling of a closed room in a small venue cannot be experienced at the original. This is a set of such a superb live album and a masterpiece video that will expand the image many times over. This is recommended not only for MOTLEY CRUE fans, but also for SLAUGHTER fans.
