Description

Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert, “BACK TO THE BEGINNING”, which became a huge event of the century. A set of four professional shots that overlook the entire stage is now available. This work was, of course, shot at the “Villa Park performance on July 5, 2025”. This is a multi-camera professional shot. The first two-disc set of four groups (BLACK SABBATH/Ozzy Osbourne/METALLICA/GUNS N’ ROSES) was very popular, and the second two-disc set of the others (All-Star Band/SLAYER/PANTERA) will be released at the same time. This work is a four-disc set that includes such a “first and second part”. Please note that the contents will overlap. On the day, it was a festival format with 18 bands performing, and it was a long event of about 9 and a half hours. This work is a four-disc set that allows you to enjoy all the stages with fully official professional shots. However, the composition is (slightly) different from the chronological order, and the concept is decided for each disc. First of all, let’s organize what kind of composition it is.・DISC 1: 8 early bands (digest) / PANTERA / SLAYER ・DISC 2: ALL STARS / Jack Black / DRUM-OFF / Backstage scenery ・DISC 3: GUNS N’ ROSES / METALLICA ・DISC 4: Ozzy’s solo / BLACK SABBATH … and so on. The early bands (8 groups) are digests of one song each, but the rest are fully recorded. Now, let’s introduce each section individually. DISC 1 (first half) Cover digest (8 songs) The opening of this work is decorated with the 8 bands that appeared at the beginning of the event. It is not all the songs that were played, but a digest of one song each for each band. However, that one song is important. In the first place, “BACK TO THE BEGINNING” was intended to be “Ozzy’s last concert”, and the performers were expected to cover Ozzy’s solo and Sabbath’s masterpieces. The cover songs chosen here are those covers. The bands at the beginning only had about 15 minutes to perform, and they could only perform one cover at a time. In other words, this work contains “all of Ozzy/Sabbath’s covers”. DISC 1 (Part 2) PANTERA Edition / SLAYER Edition (4 songs + 6 songs) Next up is the full recording of PANTERA, which has been rebooted with Zakk Wylde/Charlie Benante, and the reunited SLAYER. It’s a treasure just to have a pro shot of the rebooted PANTERA, but the guitar is Zak, who is also Ozzy’s right-hand man. The cover is like ZAKK SABBATH with Phil Anselmo, and was also an important band in the middle of the event as a whole. And SLAYER. Last year, the event was revived with only two performances, but this year it has evolved into a mini tour of six performances. This is also a pro shot that metal fans all over the world are drooling over. DISC 2: All-Star Band (5 songs + 7 songs) DISC 2 is a special feature on collaborations with a super luxurious star. There were four stages: “ALL STARS (two parts)” led by Tom Morello, who is also the music director of the event, movie star Jack Black, and a special jam “DRUM-OFF”. The main “ALL STARS” started with the main attraction Jake E. Lee! Other stars included David Ellefson, Scott Ian, Nuno Bettencourt, and the new generation of Yungblud, both old and new. The second part was even more luxurious, with K.K. Downing, Billy Corgan, Papa V. Perpetua, and Sammy Hagar appearing in turn. You can also enjoy the miracle of Sammy singing “Flying High Again”. The surprise guests, who were not announced, were even more powerful, including Steven Tyler (!!) of AEROSMITH, who has retired from touring, and Ron Wood (!!!). Steven’s powerful and sexy stage performance in particular is as strong as ever, and it’s hard to believe that he has retired from touring. This is a super luxurious stage where the special feeling of the historic event erupts from the screen. DISC 2: Jack Black / DRUM-OFF (one song each) Two special groups are recorded between the two parts of the all-star band, which are like a palate cleanser, but are still special groups that you can’t see anywhere else. First up is Jack Black. He is the only one who sings “Mr. Crowley” not live but on video, and he even reproduces that “AFTER HOURS”. The backing is also Tom Morello’s son Roman Morello and Scott Ian’s son Revel Ian, and although it is a humorous work that prioritizes jokes, this may be a tribute suitable for Ozzy, who was loved not only by rock but also by the entertainment world in general. And the special unit “DRUM-OFF”. Three master drummers: Travis Barker, Chad Smith, and Danny Carey will do a spectacular drum battle with the theme of “Symptom Of The Universe”. DISC 2 (Bonus) Backstage Scenes The last part of this work is the backstage scenes. Many stars greet the emperor Ozzy and warm up old friendships. The scene is more luxurious than the actual stage, and it is also an incredibly luxurious video. DISC 3 (First Half) GUNS N’ ROSES Edition (6 songs) GUNS N’ ROSES finally appears. This day was a special formation, and keyboards (Dizzy Reed/Melissa Leeds) were absent. It was the first time in 35 years since 1990 that they performed a live show with a five-person formation. Even more special is the set list. Every band at this event performed a variety of Sabbath/Ozzy covers, but GUNS N’ ROSES only played four songs. Moreover, the selection was intense, with “It’s Alright”, “Never Say Die”, “Junior’s Eyes”, and “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath”. Axel has been singing “It’s Alright” for a while (the other three songs were world premieres), and he was 14-16 years old when he released “TECHNICAL ECSTASY” and “NEVER SAY DIE”. He may have actually been listening to these two albums. DISC 3 (Second Half) METALLICA Edition (6 songs) METALLICA performed just before Ozzy in a 35-minute slot that even surpassed GUNS N’ ROSES. The covers they chose were “Hole in the Sky” and “Johnny Blade”. The former was the first in 16 years since 2009, and the latter was the world premiere. In particular, “Johnny Blade” is not only a maniac, but the way it is performed is so familiar that it is hard to believe it is the first time it has been released. The selection and arrangement are ingenious, and it is a great performance that shows off METALLICA’s reputation as a master of covers. DISC 4 (first half) Ozzy’s solo performance for the first time in six and a half years (5 songs) The last DISC 4 is the last stage of the great Ozzy Osbourne. It’s his first live performance in six and a half years (during that time, he appeared at events, but it was only a few songs with mime). Although it’s only six songs, this is all the songs. Although he’s still sitting in a chair, Ozzy is still Ozzy. His sharp gaze is charismatic, and he can freely control a large audience of about 40,000 people with just his gestures. Standing next to him is his half-lifetime partner, Zakk Wylde. In addition, Mike Inez from the “NO MORE TEARS” era also makes a special return, adding a touch of glamour to the memorable last stage. DISC 4 (second half) Original BLACK SABBATH for the first time in 20 years (4 songs) The last and final song is the highlight of BLACK SABBATH. Speaking of their last concert, the official work “THE END: LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM” comes to mind, but it was Tommy Krufetos who was sitting on the stool at that time. The original Bill Ward was absent. This time, they are in the building. It is a genuine revival of the original BLACK SABBATH. The last time the original four were together was in 2005. It is generally believed that the last performance of “OZZFEST 2005” was “September 4, 2005”, but in fact the TV program they appeared on after that was the last (you can also enjoy this in the pro shot “THE LAST OF ORIGINAL 4”). Finally, Ozzy Osbourne has finally drawn the curtain on his stage life. This is a multi-camera pro shot where you can witness the last loan of the Prince of Darkness, who left a huge mark on music history. A lively cover rush by juniors, a big collaboration with the super luxurious stars of the scene, a one-time super rare cover by a big star, and the last stage of Emperor Ozzy. All were historic super-demand events. Please experience your stomach / heart full with this work set with the best master.
