Description
“HARD ROCK CALLING” is a summer festival that was held in Hyde Park until 2012. A multi-camera pro shot that allows you to experience the 2008 version in the highest quality has been decided to be released. “HARD ROCK CALLING” is a British rock festival that started in 2006 under the name “HYDE PARK CALLING”. From 2013, it moved to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and was held every year until 2015. The 2008 edition will be held over two days, “June 28th + 29th”, with Eric Clapton and the reunited THE POLICE as the headliner. This work is a TV pro shot that features a digest of such festivals. Moreover, this work is a version of a special program “HARD ROCK CALLING: London’s largest music event” broadcast by a certain satellite broadcasting station. It is a Japanese broadcast version with the program’s own Japanese script for interviews and MC. The quality is completely official. At our store, we have delivered many famous broadcasts left in rock history with the best masters of domestic enthusiasts, but this work is exceptionally beautiful among them. It may have been broadcast in 2009, but even with that in mind, it’s incredibly high quality and clear. It has a super beautiful quality that is more than enough to be said to be the latest broadcast 10 years later. The beautiful visuals depict a number of passionate performances by a gorgeous cast. 24 bands/artists performed over the two days, but 9 of them and 20 songs are included in this work. Let’s organize the contents by appearance date. Opening day (June 28) Eric Clapton (5 songs): Tell The Truth/Driftin’ Blues/Motherless Child/Layla/Crossroads Sheryl Crow (3 songs): Out Of Our Heads/If It Makes You Happy/ Every Day Is A Winding Road ・John Mayer (3 songs): Waiting For The World To Change/Vultures/Gravity ・Others: I’m Yours (Jason Mraz)/Voodoo Chile (Robert Randolph & THE FAMILY BAND) 2nd Eyes (June 29)・THE POLICE (3 songs): Message In A Bottle/Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic/Can’t Stand Losing You・THE BANGLES (2 songs): Manic Monday/Walk Like An Egyptian ( Mrs. Robinson)・Others: Four To The Floor (STARSAILOR)/Black Horse And The Cherry Tree (KT Tunstall)…and so on. It’s an edited program, so THE POLICE appears at the beginning and end, so it’s not in chronological order, but a digest of several songs by each artist. However, you can enjoy each song in full. With so many big names appearing, there is no end to the highlights of the performance, but the breadth and excitement is amazing. Rock, pop, country, and funk are performed one after another without any boundaries, amidst the open feeling of early summer with a blue sky. John Mayer, who is considered one of the three great guitarists of today, Sheryl Crow, who exudes the same rock diva style, THE BANGLES, who thrilled the audience of 30,000 people, THE POLICE, which was the final UK performance of their reunion tour, and 10 Great Eric Clapton says he returns to Hyde Park every year… It’s a spectacle where these big names face off against the huge crowd that can only be expected from a festival, and thrill them with their signature songs. Festivals have a real thrill that is different from just a compilation of live footage, and this work is a piece that concentrates that flavor. A masterpiece of the highest quality video that is fun as a showcase of Western music masterpieces and also gives a sense of unity at the festival.
