Van Halen/UK 1978 2Days

From the UK tour after the release of “Fire of Fire” in 1978, the Hanley performance on May 23rd and the Bristol performance on the 26th were recorded as couplings from the high-quality audience master newly excavated in recent years. Both were short sets of about 45 minutes because they were tours opening for Sabbath, but the point is that the Hanley performance had one more song, “Bottoms Up”, than the other performances. The Bristol performance was recorded from the middle of the second song “I’m The One”, and although it was a 34-minute recording, the direct sound without distance was overwhelming. Disc 1 : 1.
