Description
A collection of rare studio tracks! Mainly featuring the 1st session recordings! CD1 contains the studio sessions for the first album, and CD2 contains studio session recordings from 1978 to 1983. Since it was recorded in a studio, the sound quality is perfect as a soundboard master. “Eruption” was said to be a different dimension to people at the time. It’s a bell-bell sound, but it’s not just fast playing, but a performance with a melody and a core. The first generation, who pioneered a new field, is different after all. Also, Van Halen’s guitar has a genius sense of rhythm. The flashy solo stands out, but it’s interesting to listen to the rhythm and backing. “Devil’s Highway” is not an exquisitely monotonous song, but has interesting phrases that appear everywhere. This song also looks simple, but the composition is twisted, which is interesting. It includes Jamie’s Cryin, which is never boring, Ice Cream Man, a cover of blues musician John Brim, the catchy and cheerful hit “Dance the Night Away” from the 2nd album “Legendary Bomber”, and the raging HR tune “Somebody Get Me a Doctor”. It’s full of interesting music and it’s fun!
