From the 2012 “A Different Kind of Truth Tour” that sent the whole world into a melting pot of excitement, the Uncasville performance on March 3rd, which was held immediately after MSG2 Days, and the Philadelphia performance on March 5th, both of which were at the highest level. Completely recorded with audience recording. First is the Uncasville performance, which is the 10th performance of the tour recorded on Discs 1 & 2. It is recorded with a sticky, powerful and full-scale sound, and has an excellent sense of stability. Since the surrounding cheers are not picked up much during the song, you can enjoy the whole show with the easy-to-listen sound recorded with a solid sound image. From this time on, the opening seems to have been completely fixed to Unchained, and the flow of the entire show has become smoother. In the first half, China Town is followed by Hear About It Later. Instead, discs 3 & 4 are the Philadelphia performance on the 11th day of the tour. Perhaps the recording position is closer to the stage, you can enjoy the whole show with a clearer and stronger sound than Uncasville. The band’s groove as a whole comes through more directly from the tight sound. The guitar and bass have the best sense of separation, and are recorded with very clear sound, allowing you to enjoy the show with a punchy sound image that doesn’t feel lacking. On this day, The Full Bug, which was suddenly shown on the second day of MSG and surprised the fans, is being played at the position of the fourth song, Romeo Delight. The sound localization and stability of both performances was top class. In particular, the Philadelphia performance is a masterpiece recording that represents the tour comparable to the Louisville performance on the first day, and is a must-listen for fans!
