The most important work in the popular “DIFFERENT LIVE OF TRUTH” series! Introducing a superb set that includes super rare songs that we didn’t know about at the time of the tour. Speaking of “DIFFERENT LIVE OF TRUTH”, it is a superb recording series that provides a detailed report on “A DIFFERENT KIND OF TRUTH TOUR”. Over the past few weeks, we have been reprinting several copies at a time and they have been very popular. This work is the 11th installment, but it is actually much more than that! The most important work in the series… no, it is one of the most important works of VAN HALEN that has been reorganized beyond the boundaries of the series. The key to this is extremely rare songs. At the time of the tour, they were being released in real time, and we didn’t know which songs would survive, or which ones would become staples of the reformed era. But things are different now. Five years have passed since they stopped their activities, and almost all of the set list from the reorganization era has been revealed. They tracked which songs were played and how many times they were played, and determined which songs were extremely rare. The top 6 extremely rare songs are as follows. ・1st place: Bottoms Up! (played once) ← This work is perfect ・2nd place: Hang ‘Em High (played twice) ・3rd place: Blood and Fire (played 4 times) ・4th place: The Full Bug ( (Performed 16 times) ← Congratulations on this work. 4th place: Outta Love Again (16 times played) 6th place: Girl Gone Bad (17 times played) *Note: This is a total only for the reorganization era (2007-2015) . …and it looks like this. By the way, the number of performances below 7th place rapidly increases to “In a Simple Rhyme (34 performances)” and “‘Dirty Movies’ (40 performances)”, and it can no longer be called rare. And to collect these 6 songs, you only need to listen to 2 of the “DIFFERENT LIVE OF TRUTH” series. I was able to clear all five songs, “Hang ‘Em High,” “Blood and Fire,” “Outta Love Again,” “The Full Bug,” and “Girl Gone Bad” with “? (Shades 483),” but the problem was the most difficult one. “Bottoms Up!” Yes, in this work you can listen to the best master of “June 5, 2012 San Jose performance” where the No. 1 super rare song of the reorganization era was played! I suddenly got excited with the biggest push, but this work is just a big set of 3 performances. From here, let’s start with a normal introduction. This work includes “Vancouver performance on May 7, 2012,” “Oakland performance on June 3, 2012,” and “San Jose performance on June 5.” This is a 6-disc set of 2 best recordings of each group coupled with 3 performances. This work, which is a vacuum-packed version of such an important performance, has excellent sound. If you have experienced even one of this series, you will have realized how high the standards are, and this work is top class among them. After all, all three are masterpieces that would be considered the best if they were in any other set. Moreover, they are similar. Although the previous sets were all high-quality recordings, they had quite different personalities, but this work has a unified feeling as if it was made by the same recording artist at the same venue (of course, it is actually a collection of different recording artists at different venues). There are, and all of them are dynamic types. While the powerful core approaches, the slight hall sound creates a sense of luster, thickness, and scale. Yet, there is no sense of distance or sparseness…such exquisite sound pervades the six CDs, and you won’t feel any discomfort even if you listen to it all through. With that dynamism, three performances with delicious rare songs will be depicted. The biggest highlight is “Bottoms Up!” of the San Jose performance (DISC 5-6), but it is by no means the only one. Finally, let’s organize the contents of the full set for the three performances. (★: San Jose only on June 5th) ・Dark Law: Romeo Delight ( May 7th Vancouver / June 5th San Jose) / And the Cradle Will Rock… (June 3rd Oakland / June 5th San Jose) Martial Law: Hear About It Later Diver Down: The Full Bug ( ★: June 3rd in Auckland) ・A Different Kind of Truth: The Trouble With Never (★: June 3rd in Auckland) *: “★” indicates the official live album “TOKYO DOME LIVE IN CONCERT” Songs you can’t listen to. This is a live set with one of the most dynamic sounds in the series, and you can also enjoy extremely rare songs from the reorganization era, such as “Bottoms Up!” and “The Full Bug.” Some people may have been overwhelmed by the rush of releases, but this work and “XI (Shades 488)” are on a completely different level of importance. These are two “absolutely unavoidable” works that I highly recommend you to check out. Rogers Arena, Vancouver, BC. Canada 7th May 2012 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA.
