Description
The shock of the newly excavated soundboard that shook the whole world is back! Following the “WORCESTER 1982 1ST NIGHT” and “3RD NIGHT”, a fierce soundboard album has been newly excavated. This work is engraved with the “October 26, 1982 Toronto performance”. It is a stereo soundboard recording. This work is a sequel to the shocking works “WORCESTER 1982 1ST NIGHT SOUNDBOARD” and “3RD NIGHT SOUNDBOARD” that are causing a whirlwind. This is the third soundboard that was excavated from the same route. If you have experienced the previous two works, you may have already made up your mind, but in fact, this work is more than that. In order to explain the meaning, let’s start with basic knowledge. Let’s explore the position of the show from the overview of the activities at that time. 1982 {April 14th release of “DIVER DOWN”} July 14th – August 21st: North America #1 (26 performances) September 1st – 25th: North America #2 (17 performances) October 7th – December 11th: North America #3 (38 performances) ←★Here★ 1983 January 16th – February 12th: South America (15 performances) ←※ CARACAS 1983 etc. May 29th: US Festival appearance This is VAN HALEN in 1982/1983. The previous two works and this work were both recorded in the main leg, “North America #3”. Let’s focus on the dates further. Details of “North America #3” ・October 7-20 (8 performances) *October 22 “WORCESTER 1982 1ST NIGHT” ・October 23: Worcester performance *October 24 “WORCESTER 1982 3RD NIGHT” *October 26: Toronto performance ←★This work★ ・October 27-December 11 (27 performances) … and so on. The previous two works were (part of) three consecutive nights of performances in Worcester, but the Toronto performance of this work was immediately after that. This work, recorded at such a site, is an ultra-thick sound board. Those who have heard the previous two works will understand if you just say “This work is almost of the same quality”. If you do not, please think of it as “a type that is as vivid as possible even if it is directly connected to the mix table”. The completely unprocessed performance sound is exposed to the core, the vibration of the guitar and bass strings and drums is a skin sensation, and the vocals and chorus are at a breathy level. You can experience a strong sense of synchronization as if all of that is ringing in your brain. This sound is also found in “WORCESTER 1982 1ST NIGHT/3RD NIGHT”, but the contents are similar but different. Let’s organize the contents of this set here. Diver Down (8 songs)・The Full Bug/Little Guitars/Where Have All The Good Times Gone!/Hang ‘Em High/Cathedral/Secrets/Intruder(★★)/(Oh) Pretty Woman(★)Others (10 songs)・Fuse of Fire: Runnin’ With The Devil/Jamie’s Cryin’/Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love/You Really Got Me (incl. Happy Trails)・Legendary Bomber: Dance The Night Away/Somebody Get Me A Doctor/Bottoms Up!・Others: Romeo Delight/Unchained/Everybody Wants Some!!*Note: The “★” mark indicates a song that cannot be heard on the sister work “WORCESTER 1982 3RD NIGHT: SOUNDBOARD”. In particular, the “★★” mark indicates a song that is not also on “1ST NIGHT”. All three soundboards unearthed this time have recordings that have been paused, but the parts that are missing are different. This work has the most songs out of the three series, and includes both “Bottoms Up!”, which was not included in “1ST NIGHT”, and “(Oh) Pretty Woman”, which was missing from “3RD NIGHT”. On top of that, “Intruder”, which was not included in either of the previous two works, is also included. On the other hand, the ending of the last song “You Really Got Me” is a cut-off dragonfly, but this work compensates for it with an audience recording on the same day (although it still did not reach the end). In a sense, the soundboard trilogy was a shock with its high-quality live performance that even the official ones are out of the question. This is the final edition, and the decisive board where you can enjoy the most diverse repertoire. This work is recommended not only for those who have experienced the previous two works, but also for those who are thinking of trying one from now on. You will be blown away by its awesomeness and will surely not be able to help but listen to the other two works. This is the biggest and best absolute board of 2024. Stereo soundboard recording of “Toronto performance on October 26, 1982”. This is the third installment following the shocking works “WORCESTER 1982 1ST NIGHT” and “3RD NIGHT SOUNDBOARD”, and this work is also a super-class mix table direct sound board. It also includes “Intruder”, which was not included in the previous two works, with a tremendous thick feeling. This is a masterpiece that allows you to enjoy the most diverse repertoire of the three consecutive works. Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto, Ontario, Canada 26th October 1982 STEREO SBD Disc:1 (52:24) 1.
