Description
In particular, the ultimate rhythm section, shining brightly in the history of jazz, consisting of Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams, each of whom is the most popular and talented in their country, has an unimaginable magic when these three come together, and while they have not only technical skills but also a clever and intelligent sense without relying on them alone, they also have a strong energy that rushes forward aggressively and explodes, making them a rare presence that we will never see again, let alone before. Unfortunately, this work does not include Miles, the boss of magicians, and Wayne Shorter, one of the four heavenly kings, but this is a rare quartet formation of VSOP’s Miles’ golden quintet reproduction project, featuring Wynton Marsalis, who was the center of attention in the Jazz Messengers at the time and was said to be the second coming of Clifford Brown, and the stage of a rare quartet formation of Herbie, Tony, and Wynton Marsalis, with the highest quality sound! Unfortunately, this album does not feature Miles Davis, the head of the magicians, or Wayne Shorter, one of the four greats, but it does feature Wynton Marsalis, who was the center of attention in the Jazz Messengers at the time and was said to be the second coming of Clifford Brown. Even so, Wynton’s one-horn playing on “The Sorcerer” and other songs throughout the album is impressive, as if to say that it’s his time now!
