Description

From the 1982 UK tour accompanying the release of “Quartet” produced by George Martin, here is an extended version of the official live “Monument”. This is a live recording from the Hammersmith Odeon performance in London from December 2nd to 5th, and includes All Stood Still and Thin Wall, which have not been released on the official album. Also, while the third track, Visions In Blue, can be heard on the official live album, this track is mastered from the original tape, so the cheers before and after the songs are all recorded for a long time. Therefore, Reap The Wild Wind has a wind sound effect in the intro for nearly 40 seconds, Vienna has a momentary sound check sound in the intro, and even 10 seconds of cheers after the show, including the MC “Thank you, thanks very much”. In addition, the cheers at the end of Mine For Life are 20 seconds longer, and Hymn is recorded for nearly a minute longer, so the full-length is recorded with a thicker sound than the official version, for a total of 49 minutes. 1.
