Description

It was the second day of U.K.’s final Japan tour, which was announced as their 2015 Final World Tour, and it was also the last performance of this last tour, on April 30th at Nakano Sunplaza in Tokyo. A complete recording of the live performance from the high quality digital audience master from the front row. In recent years, they have held several reunion tours in Japan, and finally in 2015, the official final tour was announced, with the European leg starting in February, and the final live performances here in Japan scheduled for Osaka and Tokyo. It will only be held twice. And the Tokyo performance, which turned out to be the last live performance, was perfectly recreated with realistic, well-balanced sound. First of all, it was planned that the members would be Mike Mangini of Dream Theater and Chad Wackerman as a double drum, but due to family reasons, Chad was unable to participate, and the two main members, It will be a four-piece lineup led by the familiar Alex Macacek. And the set list started solemnly with “Thirty Years”, just like the previous Osaka performance, and suddenly the powerful performance led to the mellow “Nevermore”. In addition, the middle tracks “Night After Night”, “Disturbance In Vienna”, and “Nothing To Lose” were not played on the previous European tour, so they definitely incorporate popular numbers in Japan. That’s something I’m happy about. “Rendezvous 6:02” also incorporates a new arrangement, and the lively performance of “In The Dead Of Night”, which begins with a drum solo, is also one of the highlights. In addition, the songs change in “By The Light Of Day” and “Presto Vivace And Reprise” show off a wonderful ensemble, and “Forever Until Sunday” also changes with an even broader performance, and towards the end “Caesar’s Palace The flow from “Blues” to Eddie’s solo and “The Only Thing She Needs” is a masterpiece, and the performance from the middle to the second half overwhelms the audience, and the reprise of “Carrying No Cross” at the end is also wonderful. This is a memorial item that you will want to keep in your memory forever, so that you will never forget the beautiful final night of the four patriotic warriors, whose 37 years of activities came to an end.
